About
The International Competition in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, organized by The International Society of Data Scientists (also called World Championship 2023) from Boston, MA in the United States. For Computer Vision & NLP tracks, students graduated within 5 years are eligible to attend. Each team can optionally have an advisor, who may be a professor or a data science professional. Additionally there are Statistical Data Science track and Programming track for high school students. The competition is to create a playground for young Data Scientists to grow skills, knowledge, experience, and collaboration for their career path. The competition committee includes professors and industry leaders around the world.
Participated Teams & Sponsors
The competition had an extensive participation from huge numbers of teams over the world. For the computer vision track, there was more than 110 teams included 124 competitors and for NLP track there was more than 50 teams included 61 competitors. The competition was held on Kaggle platform from Oct 1st, 2023 to Oct 31, 2023. Sponsors varied between prestigious universities such as Boston University, University of Connecticut and IOWA State University as well as esteemed firms like Google, VNBUSINESS and LightOJ.
Results of Competition
The final result of competition includes top performance by the teams from Benha University and Ottawa University. Benha University’s team achieved the 2nd Place in the NLP track surpass more than 52 teams over the world as well as the Ottawa University’s team achieved the Honorable 3rd place in the same track.
